In their first year in the competition, Old Camberwell has taken the Club XVIII (South) title with a resounding 42 point win over St Marys/Salesian played in wet and slippery conditions at Sportscover Arena tonight.

The dates and venues for the 2008 finals series have been announced. VAFA finals run from August 23rd with the commencement of the D and U19 sections and runs through to September 21st with the staging of the A Section Grand Final.
