Jonathan Horn looks to the season opening weekend with a review of the A Section combatants.

With presidents, secretaries and members from the seventy-four clubs in attendance, as well as many special guests, the MCC Members’ Dining Room was packed to capacity last night as the VAFA officially launched the 2009 season.

Three stalwarts of the Victorian Amateur Football Association were granted Life membership of the Association last night at the VAFA’s annual Season Launch

The VAFA Board has approved the appointment of Michael Fitzgerald as Communications Manager of the VAFA. Michael worked for many years as a media and political advisor to government ministers and politicians, both in Australia and the USA.
