UMPIRES APPRECIATION DAY A GREAT SUCCESS
VAFA club Williamstown CYMS deserves praise for creating a first in VAFA football for hosting an “Umpires Appreciation Day” on Saturday 14th June.
Highlights from the Cystic Fibrosis Cup are now on the website (Video Highlights icon) and highlights from the VAFA v AFL Sydney match can be viewed on Foxtel Channel 183 this Wednesday night from 9pm.
The VAFA held off a late AFL Sydney charge to win the Representative match at Henson Park, Sydney by five points, 13.8.86 to 11.15.81.
The VAFA Under 19 representative team was outplayed today by a the AFL Queensland Under 21 team at Giffen Oval, Brisbane. The Home side ran out 131 points winners.
