Tipster “Gaffed” has been crowned the VAFA inaugrual tipping champion after closing out Round 18 with 124 correct tips, two ahead of nearest rival “Dr Mack”.
Tonight, Monday 25th August the Old Westbourne AFC will host a training session for the visiting team from Ireland that will be competing in the International Cup to be played in Melbourne & Warnambool from Wed. 27th Aug. to Sat. 6th Sept.
Old Xaverians overcame a twenty point deficit at half time to haul in Old Brighton and clinch a spot in the A Section Finals.

The Club XVIII Teams of the Year have been announced. The teams have been selected into two teams of 26 from players right across the four Club XVIII sections
At the beginning of the season 15 VAFA Clubs gave themselves the chance to win $10,000 by nominating which club they thought would win the premiership for each section in 2008!!
Whilst A, B, C and U19 Premier Sections complete Round 18 this weekend, all other Sections enter their first week of finals.
