A happy new year to all and welcome to the 2009 VAFA year. As our amateur aspirants return to work off their festive season indulgences, lets look ahead to see what 2009 has in store for us.
The VAFA office will be closing on Tuesday 23rd of December and re-opening on Wednesday 14th of January. The VAFA Board and Staff wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.

The AFL is inviting coaches of all levels to take part in the 2009 National Coaches Conference to be held in Melbourne on Jan 30th to Feb 1st. The conference theme, ‘Coaching Effectiveness’, focuses on strategies to ensure coaches are effectively delivering on their coaching goals and objectives.
