The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) is delighted to announce a two-year extension with My Sport Live (MSL), who will continue as VAFA Media’s match-day broadcast production partner until the end of the 2026 season.
VAFA Broadcast & Content Manager, Jason Bennett, said that MSL’s reappointment followed a rigorous process, as VAFA Media continues to push the boundaries of community footy coverage.
“One of our primary drivers is innovation,” said Bennett.
“We need to keep creating new and better ways to deliver our live match coverage, on-demand highlights packages and social content.
“As a footy league, we’re focused on showcasing our teams and players in the best possible light to the broadest possible audience. Like every league, we need to find cost-effective solutions for our clubs to be able to film and stream more of their matches.
“My Sport Live provided us with a range of tech and personnel-based ideas and solutions we can implement over the next two seasons to do just that. We were extremely impressed with their fresh thinking and proactivity.
“They’ve been a valued long-term partner of the VAFA and have played a key role in elevating our coverage to its current level. We’re excited to continue our relationship and keep driving our coverage forward.”
“We are delighted to celebrate the tenth anniversary of our partnership with the VAFA —a collaboration that has continued to evolve and strengthen over the years,” said My Sport Live Managing Director, Andrew Weiss.
“We are pleased to extend our commitment for another two years, with plans to introduce several new innovations while also enhancing live and on-demand coverage for the league to an unprecedented level.
“We eagerly anticipate the season’s commencement in April and look forward to working closely with all VAFA clubs throughout the 2025 season and beyond.”
