VAFA Media’s Round 15 live coverage is headlined by one of the William Buck Premier Men’s matches of the year!
This week’s SEN VAFA Match of the Day sees St Kevin’s host Old Scotch in a blockbuster at TH King Oval.
The two hottest teams in the competition HAVE NOT LOST since they last met in Round 7.
St Kevin’s have won 7 and drawn 1 of their last 8. Perennial contenders, they can make a statement this weekend at home & keep the heat on the Tonners in the race for the minor premiership.
The third-placed Cardinals are on a 7-game winning streak, including their superb 25-point victory over league-leaders Old Brighton last weekend. Next, they challenge themselves against the 2nd placed SKOB.
Last week we said that Old Scotch can prove they’re a genuine contender. This week they can prove they should be the PREMIERSHIP FAVOURITE.
But St Kevin’s will have plenty to say about that.
Two powerful, in-form and supremely confident teams. What a game this promises to be!
Tune into our LIVE coverage from 1:45pm through the SENApp, SEN.com.au and VAFA.com.au, hosted by VAFA Media’s Paddy Grindlay, featuring interviews with the coaches & players and exclusive access into the quarter-break huddles.
The SEN App is available for iPhone and Android, and works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This weeks KommunityTV live-stream double-header features two teams stuck on the outside looking in as University Blues host Collegians at Melbourne University Oval.
Both teams were jostling for fourth until Old Xavs beat them both in the past two weeks to grab a ladder advantage.
Entering Round 15, the Lions are still alive, sitting one game plus percentage behind Xavs so they must win and keep winning, then hope that their rival clips a couple of hurdles, which is entirely possible given their final two matches are against Old Brighton and Old Scotch.
The reigning premiers will enter as favourites against a Blues outfit that has been cruelled by injury in recent weeks and humbled by Old Xavs to the tune of 99 points last start.
But Guy Martyn’s team are a proud bunch and, wounded or otherwise, will be determined to show some grit and make a stand, despite their finals hopes being dashed.
It’s a must-win for the Lions’ premiership defence. Can the Blues shatter their back-to-back dream?
