The VAFA congratulates Archie Sinnott from University Blues, who has received the Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination for Round 11. Archie has had a real impact in his first season in the seniors at Uni Blues, with a willingness to adapt and play where needed week to week. Archie was selected in the Holmesglen Under 19’s Showcase on Saturday 6 July where he was amongst the best of the young VAFA talent on display.
What the club said:

Coach of University Blues, Guy Martyn said: “Archie is a hard running left footed wingman with a real appetite to learn and better himself. His hard work has him filling holes and helping the back six one minute, then using his pace charging towards and pumping the ball inside 50 the next minute. He’s played every game in his first year of senior football with Uni Blues and hasn’t looked out of place at all.”
