The VAFA has opportunities for volunteers to join its media team for the 2024 football season.
The Victorian Amateur Football Association is Australia’s largest senior community football competition, with 70 clubs and 13,000 men’s and women’s players across metropolitan Melbourne.
We’re seeking dedicated volunteers to cover our senior men’s and women’s competitions in both print and online media. There are also opportunities to join our radio and live stream commentary teams, and also paid camera operator positions to film matches through the VAFA’s official broadcast partner.
These positions provide a fantastic opportunity for sports media and journalism students looking for experience in the sports media industry. It also allows VAFA supporters & club representatives the chance to use their knowledge of the competition to provide in-depth analysis to a wider audience.
