The VAFA congratulates Maggie Mahony from Old Scotch Football Club who has been nominated as the Round 14 Anytime Fitness Rising Star. Maggie had a standout performance scoring 4 goals for Old Scotch on the weekend as a 17 year old!

Maggie Mahony is a very talented sports women excelling at both football and hockey. Maggie is a highly rated footballer at Oakleigh Chargers in the Coates League and an important member of the Old Scotch Football Club.
Maggie is strong at the contest and her four goals on the weekend against a very good opposition was exciting to watch and a testament to her hard work at and around the contest.
Maggie’s balanced temperament makes her a pleasure to coach and a wonderful teammate. Maggie is a serious prospect for rapid advancement through the football grades.
