The VAFA congratulates Aaron Ostilly from the AJAX Football Club, who has received the Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination for Round 12. Aaron has moved around the field, playing a number of positions, however showed his versatility and resilience carrying his side in a tough loss from the weekend, being named best on ground.
What the club said:
Aaron has previously played a few games in our Thirds and Reserves side before making his Senior debut last weekend.
As well as being a talented cricket player playing in the Caulfield 1st XI, he loves his footy. He has a great attitude to football having risen through the ranks from thirds to reserves to seniors.
Aaron played as an on-baller and forward until this year where he was put at full back and has shown what he is capable of. Proving to be a versatile all-rounder, his go-get-it attitude and willingness to play where the team needs him makes him such a valuable player to our club and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Aaron.
