The VAFA congratulates Amelia Kogler from Old Melburnians Football Club who has been nominated as the Round 11 Anytime Fitness Rising Star. Amelia continues to shine for the Omelettes, delivering consistent performances week after week and has earned herself a spot in the best on many occasions.
What the club said:
Since coming down to pre-season training in December, Amelia or Mills as she is nicknamed has not missed a session. Mills is part of an impressive group of young women that have come from Merton Hall and made a huge impact on the club and is one of our first Father/daughters players with her old man Daniel being a former under 19s captain and senior player.
Whether it’s at the bottom of packs doing the hard stuff or applying 1st, 2nd and 3rd efforts, Mills is never one to shun hard work.
The nomination is a real credit to Mills dedication to game-day and training as she is always one of the last ones on the track doing extras. A really exciting future lies ahead for Mills in the Dark Blue!!!
