Old Trinity Football Club wishes to advise all members, fans, sponsors and football universe of the appointment of Leo Garrick to the Men’s Senior Coaching role for the 2023 season.
After lots of consultation across playing group, leadership group & committee – we’re excited to announce Jamie Cassidy-McNamara has been appointed as Senior Coach at Coburg Football Club within the VFL.
As a club, we couldn’t be more delighted when our people achieve success. However, this does mean that once again we’re undertaking a change.
With change comes opportunity, and we’re pleased to appoint Garrick, as the new Senior Coach of the T’s for 2023. Leo comes from Warrandyte Football Club in the Eastern Football League as a highly regarded individual who’s connection and care for his players is unparalleled. Leo has been working with Jamie as our Senior Assistant for season 2023 for the last 7 weeks, and has already met with many of our young talent.
The club is excited to welcome Leo to the OTGAFC family.
Jamie’s love for OTGAFC and desire to stay deeply connected and involved with the program has the club excited to announce that he will be moving into a strategic role as Director of Coaching at Old Trinity. Jamie will continue to provide support to Leo & his assistants, and ensure stability and continuity within the football program.
It’s a fantastic result that through Jamie and Leo’s collaboration, we can continue with the program that was seeing enormous steps forward, and in the wider clubs eye. A program that is very close to bringing us imminent success.
With over 50 senior men attending regular strength & conditioning sessions during the off-season, we’re excited for the mens preseason to begin and build off foundations already laid.
