The VAFA congratulates Dan Tuddenham from Old Xaverians who has been nominated as the weekends Rising Star. Tuddenham was part of the Old Xaverians trouncing of Old Brighton in Round 13 kicking two goals and playing the role of half-forward to a tee.
What the club said:
Dan came to the Old Xavs straight out of Xavier College in 2021 and played with the Under 19 Premier team.
Through the pre-season it was quickly identified that he was capable of senior footy and his tenacious work ethic really shone through. Dan quickly forced his way into the seniors and has been a valuable contributor on the wing and in the forward 50.
Against Old Brighton on the weekend he was able to snag two crucial first half goals, one after chasing down a defender from behind. A natural finder of the footy and a great finisher, the Old Xavs community is excited to watch ‘Tuddy’ run around for years to come!
