After the weekend off, the VAFA Women’s Competition moves into the final rounds of the home and away season before the finals. Despite the weather across Melbourne getting colder, the footy is heating up!
In Premier C, St Bede’s have the opportunity to create history by having the lowest points conceded in a home and away season, currently at 77. They’re well ahead of the record holders UHS-VU from 2019 in Division 3 conceded 165 points. Parkside FC have played this year with more than one set of mother/daughter combinations. While all eyes are on Albert Park who’ve come up into Division 2 and currently sitting second.
Fitzroy FC sit on top of the table in Premier B, Eliza ‘Lefty’ Wright goes one-on-one with her own coach Michael Harper and if there’s any pressure on the Roys maintaining their good form going into finals.
