This partnership is paying dividends with successful starts to the under 19 year and the senior team in 2022.
What the club said:
Will is an incredibly talented and focused footballer who plays with maturity beyond his years. Currently 17 and undergoing year 12 at Mckinnon Secondary college.
Will was earmarked for senior football early in the pre-season and it’s been fantastic to see him take the opportunity with both hands by making an immediate impact in the senior squad.
He’s a big bodied versatile midfielder who can push out to a wing or across the half forward flank and has no problem finding the big sticks. Very strong standing over the ball and in the air.
He has demonstrated incredible attack on the footy, brave 2-way running and polish that suggests he has been playing senior football for a lot longer than his 2 game senior footballing career.
