VAFA Podcast – A-Grade boil-overs, Ask Grumpy Brian and a kiss for Mother’s day

Your favourite podcast is back for another week, VAFA’s For the Love of the Game!
In one of the most extraordinary rounds of William Buck Premier football, three of the five games resulted in upset victories, two of which gave Caulfield Grammarians and Old Trinity their first wins of 2022 while Old Scotch took bragging rights over arch-rivals Old Brighton.
Jamie Cassidy-McNamara is new in the VAFA competition as coach of Old Trinity, he joined Brian Waldron and Joe Pignataro to talk through the T’s five point win over University Blues and how he has found the challenge of coaching in our competition.
We’re building up towards a special BCNA awareness round this Saturday, as well as Mother’s Day on Sunday. De La Salle will be one of many clubs raising money and creating further awareness in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia, doing so off the back of claiming the Bernie Sheehy Cup last weekend over Ajax.
Hampton Rovers in Premier C, PEGS in Division 1 and Brunswick in Division 2 are announcing themselves as the teams to beat in their respective sections while the debut segment of “Ask Grumpy Brian” has proved to be a raging success, plus an insight that’s well-worth tuning in for.
