VAFA Umpire training returned on Monday 7 February at Elsternwick Park, with over 50 umpires attended the first session of the year, including many new recruits joining in training.
A professional running program from new Fitness Coach Tom O’Connor was well received by the umpires. Coaches Russell Davidson, Owen Hinson and Guy Hexter led an interactive and challenging training session for umpires at all levels.
The prize winners of the three VAFA footballs were announced from our latest registration competition.
Training will continue every Monday and Wednesday night from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Elsternwick Park.
