The VAFA is excited to announce a partnership extension with Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) and Asahi’s Club Connect program.
Club Connect is a website where community sporting clubs can purchase all their beverage requirements (beer, cider, wine, spirits, soft drink/ sports drink etc) in a single location, at a great price, have the products delivered for free to your clubrooms at a time that is convenient for the Club (training and game day between Monday to Saturday, and you can select the delivery window from 10am-1pm, 1pm-4pm or 4pm-7pm).
And best of all, Clubs will earn cashback ($4 per case of alcohol product, $2 per case on non-alcohol product) on every purchase, which acts as a key fundraising tool for the club.
Its quick and easy to sign up, there is no sign-up fee, no contract, no minimum order quantity, and no exclusivity.
“We used Club Connect during the 2021 season and were so happy with the convenience of the service,” Glen Eira AFC Club President, Ivan Delac, said.
“Being able to order our beverages online and have delivered for free to the club has saved so much time for our volunteers.”
The partnership with Club Connect will provide a convenient and less time-consuming way to procure your club’s beverages as well as an additional revenue stream that many clubs need. With most Clubs being volunteer-run, Club Connect takes the hassle out of purchasing beverages with a simple online ordering process ensuring convenience for our Clubs with limited operating hours.
Currently, clubs have various ways of procuring beverages, moving forward and for those that don’t have an existing beverage sponsorship, the VAFA is asking member clubs to support this great initiative by setting up a Club Connect account.

I strongly urge all our Clubs give Club Connect an opportunity when our season kicks off.
