The Premier B Women’s fixture has been released for the 2025 season. New club Port Melbourne Chargers will host Old Melburnians in their historic first home game at JL Murphy
The VAFA is excited to announce a series of education workshops to support its member clubs committee members and volunteers. The “Education Workshop Series” has been created to support clubs in key areas of club development. In July the VAFA delivered a Club Development Health Check to all clubs and a summary of the findings from this health check revealed that:

With these findings in mind, plus insights from VAFA Advisory groups, club discussions, and other various forums the “Education workshop Series” was developed. The Education Workshop Series will be supported by “Sports Community” and will look to cover key club development topics with 11 workshops planned over the next 2 seasons targeting topics such as:
The first Workshop’s in this series will form a 3-part “Club Committee and Leadership Program” that will cover 3 sessions over 3 evenings.
Session 1 – Attracting and retaining volunteers – Monday November 29th, 7pm – 8pm (Online)
Session 2 – Unlocking the power of strategic planning – Monday February 14th, 7pm – 8pm (Venue TBC)
Session 3 – Structure follows strategy – Monday February 28th , 7pm – 8pm (Venue TBC)
This 3-part series is ideal for newly formed committees, committees with multiple incumbent members or clubs who have identified the 3 topics above as key areas to address.
These workshops are FREE and only available to VAFA clubs. All clubs are encouraged to engage with workshops that align to their interests and needs.
