October is Mental Health Awareness month in Australia and, given the current climate, recognising and understanding mental health is more important than ever.
1 in 5 Australians are affected by mental illness annually and that number has grown with the increased uncertainty and anxiety related to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
To support the mental health awareness of VAFA Clubs, the VAFA is currently opening our Expressions of Interest for 2022 Tackle Your Feelings Seminars which will be delivered at your local club. If you wish to have a FREE Tackle Your Feelings Seminar delivered at your club in 2022 please complete the form below.
Tackle Your Feelings Seminars are designed to engage club committees, coaches and players. They are valuable opportunities to discuss mental health within VAFA clubs and are delivered by local psychologists while providing tools and resources to recognise, understand and manage mental health.
