The VAFA congratulates De La Salle’s Nicholas Bufalo who has been nominated as the Round 7 Mecwacare Men’s Rising Star.
Bufalo impressed with two goals in De La’s win over Parkdale Vultures on Saturday.
What the club said:
“Nicholas went to De La Salle College and started playing in the U19s for De La in 2018. This year is his first year playing in the seniors holding his spot in defence.
He is currently on the Sandringham VFL list and his coaches describe him as playing like Christian Petracca (Melbourne FC).
His strengths as a player include a penetrating kick, dynamic line breaking abilities and he has been making big improvements in his defensive craft.
Nick is a quiet achieving, highly determined, driven young man.”
