The VAFA congratulates Old Haileybury’s Castan Racunica who has been named the Round 2 Mecwacare Men’s Rising Star nominee.
Castan kicked three goals for the Bloods in their 85-point Premier B Men’s victory over Old Carey at Princes Park, Caulfield.
What the club said:
“Castan is in his first year at Old Haileybury and forms part of the new emerging breed at Princes Park.
He never looks rushed with ball in hand and is capable of playing a variety of positions.
He reminds his coach, Daniel Ward, of Angus Brayshaw and his special talent is that he can DJ social events.”
