The Victorian Amateur Football Association, Australia’s largest senior community football competition, seeks a dedicated person for the role of Football Operations Assistant.
Reporting to the General Manager – Football Operations, the role is three days per week and runs from March – October.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage clash jumper database
- Assist with VAFA representative football program
- Compile and analyse competition data
- Other football administration tasks as required
- Manage umpire appointments database via Schedula
- Manage team sheets process
- Manage match day voting database
- Coordinate umpire training facilities
- Assist in preparation of tribunal hearings
- Assist in compiling required tribunal documents
- Edit and reformat video content for tribunal hearings
- Work proactively and flexibly with VAFA colleagues
- Contribute in meetings, generate ideas, constructively challenge and have fun

- Have high organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
- Be action-oriented
- Have industry knowledge
