Six goals to one in the final term helped University Blacks come-from-behind and claim an unbelievable 19-point semi-final win over a gallant Caulfield Grammarians.
Trailing by 15 points at the main break, the Blacks ignited with two goals each to John Vrodos and Lochie Dornauf and one each to Lachlan Huntington and Lachie Knight.
Vrodos finished with a game-high four goals in a BOG display, while Bede Mahon and Jordan Quaile were standouts across the ground.
Young gun Nick Baltas top-scored for the Fields with three alongside a sensational performance from Chris Diggle and Dominic O’Keefe. It was a brave display from the Fields after they earnt promotion through an appearance in last year’s Premier C Grand Final.
The Blacks will now face Old Carey in next week’s preliminary final.
