The VAFA congratulates Amelia Peck from Collegians on her nomination as the Round 13 Anytime Fitness Rising Star following her best on ground performance in the Lions’ 14-point win over Brunswick Renegades.
What the club said:
“Amelia has followed in her Father and brother’s footsteps and come down to play football at Collegians. She is still currently in Year 12 at Wesley and is Captain of Basketball at school.
An elite sportswomen, finding the mix of Collegians football and school basketball and representative basketball is hard and Amelia is trying to fit all this into her busy schedule. Already know as the best footballer in her family, Amelia is a really strong mark and has a booming kick on her, playing at CHB she can transition play from back to forward in one play with her long kicking.
Always has a smile on her face, Amelia has enjoyed her first season at Collegians and has a big future in front of her wherever her football takes her.”
