Round 1 Men’s Rising Star Nominee: Beaumaris

The VAFA congratulates Round 1 Men’s Rising Star nominee, Jak Nardino, after he played a standout role for Beaumaris during their 50-point win over Parkdale Vultures.
What the club said:
“Jak “Bull” Nardino played his first game for Beaumaris in 2016 having played his juniors with East Sandringham and Hampton Rovers.
He started in the Under 19s and made his senior (Premier B) debut in that year, having just turned 17 years of age. In 2017 Jak was at the Sandringham Dragons playing a few games with the seniors (Premier Division) and Under 19s.
After a solid pre-season this year he has started in the seniors and is still only 18 years of age. Jak’s key attribute is his speed and his hardness at the ball.
He has based his football on Daniel Rioli. Jak is extremely quiet around the club and is known for his humility.”
