“We are delighted to announce we have appointed Anthony McMahon as our Senior Coach. The committee sincerely thanks those candidates who participated in our search and interview panel. It was pleasing to see the quality of candidates who saw the opportunities that are ahead for our club, and congratulations to Anthony on his appointment.
By way of background, Anthony has a long history with the Glengarry Football & Netball Club (North Gippsland Football Netball League) with 315 senior appearances, including a short stint as Senior Coach. He enjoyed his fair share of success both individually and with the team over a long period of time.
More recently, he has been involved with the Northern Knights TAC Cup squads, where he was Head of their Fitness Academy Squad for their up and coming boys and this year the main team’s Strength & Conditioning Coach and Team runner.
Shane Zantuck has taken up the role of senior women’s coach with the Swans as they look to continue their outstanding form from 2018 where they finished the year in the preliminary final of Development Division 4.
