Statement from Old Trinity Grammarians Amateur Football Club
“The committee of the Old Trinity Grammarians’ Amateur Football Club advises that our esteemed coach Adam Andrews will not continue in that role for the remainder of this season.
Whilst both parties had agreed that Adam’s tenure would not extend beyond season 2017, the committee has concluded the club stands to benefit most if the search for a new coach starts sooner rather than later, notwithstanding Adam’s desire to coach until the end of the season.
Adam’s contribution to the club as player and coach over the last nine years, cannot be overstated.
His passion and diligence, often extending into other areas beyond his coaching, were significant assets to Old Trinity.
The committee wishes Adam, a life member and best and fairest winner at Old Trinity, all the very best in his future endeavors.
Brendan Iezzi and Luke Pacconi will be joint coaches for the remainder of the season with all assistants continuing in their respective roles.”
