The final Big V U19 side has been announced with the official jumper presentation at Sportscover Arena last night.
The Big V will be led by first-time captain Tom Cameron (Old Melburnians) and vice-captains Alex Mastromanno (Old Brighton) and Lachlan Byrne-Jones (Old Scotch) when they face Energy Safe AFL Victoria on Saturday at Frankston Oval.
Old Scotch boast the highest number of selected players with four representatives, while the Monash Blues trio of Ethan East, Joe Harrison and Beau Harris were each named.
Collegians, De La Salle, St Bedes/Mentone Tigers and University Blues each have two representatives.
The U19’s Challenge Cup kicks off at 11:30am on Saturday at Frankston Oval and will be followed by the Brian Molony Cup between the senior sides at 2:15pm. Admission is $10 – pensioners and U15 free.
The VAFA congratulates all selected players and wish them the best when they run out tomorrow morning.
