Congratulates to Collegians midfielder, Charlotte Pooley, who has been named the Week 9 Anytime Fitness Rising Star.
“Charlotte was born in Perth WA and has played football from the age of 7. She played with and against boys from ages 7-13. Charlotte then played in an all-female competition from ages 14-17 before moving to Melbourne and joining Collegians in 2017.
Charlotte first played football because she thought it looked like a fun and exciting game. She was right and continues to play because it is a great game.
Charlotte is a cross between Erin Phillips from Adelaide Crows and Ebony Marinoff from Adelaide Crows. Charlotte’s number one strength is hard ball gets, she has good ball skills and her on field leadership is highly valued by her teammates.
Charlotte is renowned for her hard training and is always happy when the club puts on a free feed after the game. Charlotte is so keen on her football that she moved all the way across the country to play in the home of football.
Melbourne and Collegians is proud that she chose our club to play with. She is tough inside mid & continues to improve in all aspects of her game.”
