Lions & Blacks on the board – William Buck Premier Men’s Round 3 in Review
As predicted, anyone can beat anyone on any given day in Premier Men’s, as a couple of 0-2 teams dug in to post their maiden wins in Round 3. Collegians
Congratulations to Old Trinity’s Julia Halaseh-Russo who has been named the Round 4 Anytime Fitness Rising Star after her outstanding performance in the T’s win over Old Xaverians.
What the Club said:
“Julia played football at interschool sports in primary school and loved the physicality of the sport so she continued football at a club level. She started club football at Kew Rovers FC in 2012 before making the move to Old Trinity in 2017 to play in the inaugural VAFA women’s competition.
Julia has similar game style as Luke Dahlhaus from the Western Bulldogs. She loves to tackle and is very good at breaking out of the pack.
Julia is known for her eagerness to be involved and take part in everything around Old Trinity. Julia’s goal is to be drafted into the AFLW in the near future.”
