PEGS will play off for a grand final appearance next weekend after they proved too strong for Therry Penola, running out 62-point winners at Bill Lawry Oval.
A 10-goal to one opening half set the scene as the Lions struggled to get back into the game from there with the Bombers’ pressure the best it’s been all season.
Tylar Vujanic starred up forward with five goals for the Bombers, while Cameron Livori and Ryan Jones were outstanding. Joel Costello and Corey Bannister fought unbelievably valiantly for the Lions, who will now regroup ahead of 2017.
