The VAFA has a new challenger in the AFL Victoria Metro Championships, with the the senior rep side to battle a representative side from the Northern Football League. With the two sides having never previously met at senior level, the media managers of both sides sat down to talk about their side’s respective chances.
Samuel Zito (Northern Football League) joined Andrew Leonard (VAFA) as they discussed the build up, the training schedule, the spies Northern have sent to VAFA training and they chatted to coaches from both teams; Northern Football League coach Jason Heatley and VAFA Co-Coach Cameron Roberts talked about the difficultly of selecting 24 from such a wide pool of players and how they will prepare going into their final week before the two sides meet at Ikon Park, Carlton on 28 March.
