The VAFA Season for 2014 officially launches on Wednesday 26th March at the MCC Members Dining Room for the annual Season Launch Dinner.
The evening has become a highlight of the year for all involved in amateur football as all 75 clubs commence a new season with the optimism of a hard pre-season behind them and premiership aspirations abound.
A major highlight of the evening is the guest speaker and this year the VAFA is delighted that Matt Finnis, the soon to depart AFLPA CEO and the soon to be St Kilda CEO will be in attendance and entertaining the room.
The night will also see a new Life Member be introduced with University Blacks’ Simon ‘Harry’ Costello fomally becoming the 55th Life Member of the VAFA.
There will also be the presentation of nine new recipients of the Certificate of Merit presented on the evening.
It all starts at 6.30pm, at the MCC Members Dining Room, the 2014 VAFA Season Launch.
