
2025 Premier B Women’s Fixture
The Premier B Women’s fixture has been released for the 2025 season. New club Port Melbourne Chargers will host Old Melburnians in their historic first home game at JL Murphy
The Victorian Amateur Football Association seeks two dedicated people for the roles of Football Operations Officer and Umpire Operations Officer. The successful candidates will have a keen attention to detail, as well as the vision, communication and personal skills to assist in the operation of the VAFA. Both positions will work together closely to ensure the high standards set by the VAFA’s football and umpiring departments are maintained. Both will report to the General Manager of Football and Umpiring.
This is an ideal position for a sports graduate or an entry-level position in sports administration. They will join an energetic team at Sportscover Arena, Elsternwick, committed to the ethos of the VAFA and its 10,000 players, who play “for the love of the game”.
The successful applicants will:
• Assist the operation of the football competition by providing football services and administrative support to the clubs.
• Develop and sustain productive relationships with all VAFA stakeholders including other football competitions, clubs, coaches, umpires, volunteers and sponsors.
• Uphold the core values of the VAFA which includes the amateur status of playing “for the love of the game” and the VAFA’s Alcohol Policy where the consumption of alcohol is prohibited.
• Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure delivery against key result areas.
