Big V Premier B-Division 3 beats brave Bendigo
The VAFA’s Big V Premier B-Division 3 team found itself under intense pressure as it fought to hang on – and ultimately see off – a spirited Bendigo FNL line-up
Last year VAFA TV was on the search for the VAFA’s strongest man, it was a title that Mazenod won. Keen to defend their VAFA TV title, the club invited us back to see if they could add the Search for a Star crown to their mantle.
Their club rooms may have moved 500 metres to the top oval at Central Reserve, but the club atmosphere is still a great one. Mazenod are flying in Premier C at present and what winning club isn’t a happy place to be.
VAFA TV welcomed Dale Micallef as a potential new host of future VAFA TV episodes. Dale took over interviewing responsibilities for the night and Shaun Black brought his guitar.
