Big V Premier B-Division 3 beats brave Bendigo
The VAFA’s Big V Premier B-Division 3 team found itself under intense pressure as it fought to hang on – and ultimately see off – a spirited Bendigo FNL line-up
The Premier B to Division 4 squad has been trimmed to 26 with the final 22 to be announced on Friday evening at a special dinner.
The side will take on the number 2 team from AFL Victoria Country’s combined football leagues at Harry Trott Oval (Collegians) from 11.15am.
First time representative coach Brett Voss believes he has assembled the most talented Premier B to Division side in recent memory with multiple club best and fairest winners, competition best and fairest winners, premiership players and past representative players in the squad.
The squad will train on Wednesday at Harry Trott Oval and on Friday night at Sportscover.
This year presents the first opportunity for the side to beat the country team, having failed to do so in their previous three meetings.
