UPDATE 12.30pm: Premier Section match at Toorak Park is to go ahead. Old Xaverians host Old Carey from 2pm and you can tune in on 96.5FM to the coverage from 1.45pm. Or listen online via innerfm.org.au.
UPDATE: 11.38am Old Xaverians and Old Carey reserves at Toorak Park has been postponed. A final decision on the senior match will be made at 12.30pm.
UPDATE: 11.23am Matches at Ross Gregory Oval have been postponed. This is for Division 3 Seniors and Reserves between Power House and La Trobe Uni.
UPDATE 11.11am Matches at Harry Trott have been posponed. That is the U18 Collegians v Werribee and U19 Section 2 Collegians v Fitzroy.
UPDATE 11.00am The previously postponed U19 Premier match between Old Melburnians and De La Salle will no go ahead at 2pm. The match has been moved to De La Salle’s home ground Waverley Park.
UPDATE 10.55am Oval 2 at St Bernard’s is closed. The U18 St Bernard’s v Williamstown CYMS match has been postponed.
UPDATE 10.51am The Thirds match between St Bernard’s and Old Scotch has been postponed out at St Bernard’s College Oval number 2.
UPDATE: 10.24am Seniors and Reserves between Albert Park and Elsternwick have been postponed in Division 3.
10.21am The VAFA will meet on Monday morning to discuss and work with all affected clubs about the possibility for rescheduling later in the year. The VAFA would encourage all clubs to be conservative with their ground assessments. Think of the safety of the players and the potential damage to the ground for weeks to come.
UPDATE: 10.13am Senior match between Old Trinity and Old Haileyburians has been postponed.
All matches at the Junction Oval and Albert Park Oval 1 have been postponed. This means Premier B Old Melburnians v St Kevin’s OB Seniors, Reserves and Thirds, and U19 Premier Old Melburnians v De La Salle are allposponed.
UPDATE: 10.06am The Premier B reserves and thirds matches between Old Trinity and Old Haileyburians have been postponed. We are still working on securing a ground for the senior match.
9.54am UPDATE Matches at Chelsworth Park Postponsed. The U19 Old Ivanhoe v St Bernard’s match and the Thirds Old Ivanhoe v NOBs- St Pat’s matches ar postponed for today.
9.45am UPDATE: Message from Tim Noonan:
Dear Club Secretaries,
As you would be aware the rain last night has effected many of our grounds. We need all home clubs to assess their ground to ensure that it is fit to be used today. In making your decision, please consider the long term viability of the ground and be conservative in making your decision. We have the capacity to play games later in the season if necessary.
Could you please text me 0407542140 by 11am to let me know if your ground is able to be used or not.
