The VAFA are extremely happy to announce the players below as our squad to represent the VAFA against New Zealand in the upcoming series in October.
The VAFA sees this as a great opportunity for players to have the opportunity to represent the VAFA in an international series.
We are also pleased to confirm the appointment of Tom Maule as the coach of the team.
Tom is the current Under 19 Premier coach of Old Xaverians who won the Premiership last year and was also the VAFA junior coach of the year.
He will be assisted by Owen Lalor who was the VAFA under 19 Representative coach and prior to that coached the St Bedes Mentone Tigers senior side.
We are sure they will make a great combination to work with the boys on this trip.
The players will be contacted in the next week in regards to training and meetings once their finals are complete.
The squad will travel to New Zealand on Friday 5th October where they will play 3 matches over a four day period.
Congratulations to the following players,
Jack Cowell, Bulleen Templestowe
