
VAFA club leaders join AFL Victoria’s ‘Lead Your Way’ program
The VAFA is thrilled to announce that six leaders from across our competition have been selected to participate in AFL Victoria’s ‘Lead Your Way’ Program in 2025. Selection for Lead
Owen has worked closely with Luke Beveridge over the past three years to arrive at the success that the Tigers have enjoyed over the past three seasons. Lalor was named VAFA Under 19 Coach of the Year for the second year in a row after coaching the Club’s U19 to three consecutive flags.
They also announced that Brian Bourke, former VAFA legend and State Player will coach their U19 Premier side. Brian, who assisted Owen over the past three years, has previously coached SBMT to an U19’s. Luke Beveridge who stood down at the end of the season has been appointed to coach the TAC U18 Sandringham Dragons team in 2009. The VAFA wish Owen, Brian and Luke the best in their endeavours for the coming season
