Marc was drafted by Geelong from Southport 1998. He had a horror run with knee injuries, but remained on Geelong’s senior list until 2002, when his injuries forced an early retirement. In 2008 Marc co-coached St Mary’s in the Geelong FL to a premiership.
Uni Blacks are also thrilled that Luke O’Connell is returning to the club as Under 19’s coach. Luke was a terrific Blacks player in 2006-7 after captaining Banyule. He takes over from Paul Kempton, who rested his chronic foot injury in 2008 and will rejoin the senior playing group.
