The Westbourne visit has been arranged through Westbourne stalwart & life member Damien Billman with Ireland Assistant Coach, Tommy Madigan, who trained & played at Old Westbourne several years ago, before moving back to Ireland.
The session is planned to start about 6pm & will be followed by a get together & a meal. It is likely that well known past local stars Rohan Smith & Paul Satterley may attend to pass on some of their skills to the boys from Ireland.
Ireland which is in Pool D, will play Sweden on Wed 27th Aug & Finland on Fri 29th Aug at McAllister oval, Royal Park & then Canada on Mon. 1st Sept at Reid oval, Warrnambool. All those games will start at 11am.
