Peter made an outstanding contribution to all facets of life in the VAFA. After playing over 400 matches with the Alphington AFC, Peter joined the umpires where he continued to serve the VAFA in over 200 matches.
Peter became the Ground Manager of Elsternwick Park in 1991 and he contributed enormously with the organisation of finals and representative football.
Peter became a life member of the VAFA in 1991 and had the honour of having the best players medal for the under 19’s rep match against AFLQ named after him.
Throughout his 50 year association with the VAFA, Peter touched many people. On behalf of all VAFA people we extend our sympathies to his wife Pat, children Wayne, Kelly, Michael and Rodney and grand children Jaxon and Tahlia.
