Senior Women’s Big V Team
The inaugural Big V women’s program was established in 2017 (the first year of VAFA Women’s) with the VAFA pitting a representative side against AFL Goldfields at Mars Stadium in North Ballarat. Led by captain, Claire Messent (Old Trinity), the women’s Big V side consisted of 24 players from each of the five sections and ran out 49-point winners. In their second year, the women’s side went to Adelaide alongside the men’s for the first-ever interstate match, running out 37-point winners.
