The VAFA would like to congratulate and recognise all 2022 club best and fairest winners across VAFA’s three Premier Men’s sections.
William Buck Premier Men’s

2022 William Buck Premiers St Kevin’s had a standout season capped off by star midfielder Luke Winter taking out the clubs best and fairest and also winning the men’s rising star award.
Other notable award winners were Tyler Sellers who is leading the young brigade at Old Scotch as well as Harry Thompson who was outstanding for Old Trinity this year playing in the ruck.
Old Brighton’s Harry Hill has also had a year to remember after he also claimed the 2022 Woodrow medal alongside Old Melburnians midfielder Gus Borthwick who was beaten by Josh Freezer in the OM’s best and fairest count.

Old Haileybury’s Jack Lonie has capped off a premiership winning season with a club best and fairest. The former Saint kicked 46 goals for the season including five majors in the preliminary final.
Beaumaris speedster Jak Nardino completed the double this season after claiming the GT Moore medal in addition to his club best and fairest.
Other achievements included Fitzroy’s Ted Clayton who won the clubs best and fairest for the second time going back-to-back. Meanwhile Williamstown’s Tom Johnstone won his clubs best and fairest for the third time.

Monash Blues star Mac Cameron has finished off an unbelievable season with a premiership, the L Zachariah Medal and the clubs best and fairest award. It’s been a year to savour for Cameron as he polled 35 votes to claim the L Zachariah medal, five votes clear of Hampton Rover’s Christian Carnovale.
Carnovale too has been a dominant force in Premier C as he claimed his fourth club best and fairest for Hampton. Meanwhile Mazenod’s Matthew Fewings has put together a strong year winning Mazenod’s best and fairest award, as vice-captain of Parkdale Charlie Yee won his second best and fairest.
